Ironical World

Tears from laughter,

Humans for slaughter,

Cars parked in ‘No Parking’,

On its owner, the dog’s barking.

No shampoo in the shampoo bottle,

A lazy man working at full throttle,

Rotten apples, bought for free;

The Police unable to solve a mystery.

Party in a pool,

Thinking that it's cool.

"Thank God, it wasn't us!"

The illiterate driver of a school bus.

Forbidding freedom to become a slave;

A deer, alive, in a lion’s cave.

Who's the richest among the poor?

A lie often told, sounds truer.

A blind man and a map unfurled,

This is our ironical world.
